Morning all

There will be a fans forum at the SkyEx Community Stadium on Wednesday 11th March, 7.00pm.

Paul Hughes, and representatives of the club will be available in the bar to give an update on everything that is going on at the club, and with an Under 18s match scheduled to start at 7.45pm, it is hoped that those attending will stay on and give our U18s their support.

Andy
on behalf of the club

Great, thanks to everyone at the club for arranging this.

Oh, and to the fans for encouraging everyone at the club to arrange this.

Is the U18 game on the grass pitch or on the 3G?

I’ll start it of for the benefit of Liverpool Supporters ( and those working)
A very good turnout, 30/35maybe? Management and both Chairman, Andy and Tim with DM sitting in the corner, bless!
Tim was main speaker keeping all in order, even Idol and a lot was said. Bottom line is it all about getting the grants approved for, Water, Bar, and a Stand behind the Goal. It seems all quotes are in but it’s a long, drawn out process as Hillingdon Borough seem to have to OK ever little thing but it seems Tim is working on building a good relationship with them. The Cup run money will be used as “our” share of the cost. Some good news I though that it seems the Club are self sufficient with neither Tony or Dev having to fund the day to day running of the Club, hope I got that correct. Paul was very frank about what he would like and seems very happy being with this Club and has a good working relationship with Tone and Dev, obviously very important. Looking forward to the Playoff’s and I think Tony said an extra 40k would be required should promotion happen.
I asked about the money I’m collecting from fans and a possibility is to use to Part Fund a Coach IF we make the Playoffs, fingers crossed on that one!
Tim also has the merchandise sorted :rofl no, stop it, seems a supplier from Uxbridge Town Centre will supply, we all wait with baited breath!
I’m sure others will be along to,fill in any gaps and correct anything I got wrong, came away POSITIVE!

Thanks Martin, I was going to attend but the game on the 3G got in the way. Nice to hear positive things from the meeting

Mr Spain
I think you have covered the main points of the meeting.
It was a positive meeting by large, a lot going on behind the scenes but not a lot to show for it over the last eighteen months. Hopefully things will fall into place soon.

These things do take time and I think most of the fans took on board what the top table said last night.

One of the things that doesn't take time though is ordering merchandise.
We had this same conversation at our last meeting eighteen months ago.
It can be ordered online easily.
Why introduce another 'middle man'.
Either sort it out or hand it over to the fans to do.
