I'd imagine that those that may have been there were there (if, indeed, they were there (and I'm not suggesting that they were there)) because they either had a specific role to perform on the day (e.g. Kev Watts (match reports)) and/or were invited as a 'thank you' for all the hard work they have carried out for the club in the past (i.e. Ex Spain, The President and Holly Dolly).
The idea that the club would show undeserved preference to a particular fan or a specific group of fans against others is utterly preposterous.
Just to confirm, of those named above only myself as a club official has been at any of the pre-season games thus far in accordance with Government / FA regulations which do not currently allow spectators to attend, this includes tonight's game at Hanwell too in case you were wondering
