I am looking for an oracle of this clubs history. I attended a game around 1978/79 time, when I would have been about 6, which I believe to have been Hayes v Arsenal. Obviously it wasn't the Arsenal first team, so may have been the reserves, youth or a celebrity side. All I can remember is the score was 0-2. I believe I had a team sheet, but cannot find it in my programme collection. I was hoping someone could provide any further information on this game, if it did take place! I have searched everywhere and cannot find any reference to this game taking place so I wonder if it wasn't my young imagination!!

Wow thank you so much Kev! Would it be possible to see a copy of the team sheet that would be amazing! Was it a friendly, or a charity match etc?
