Meet in cafe of choice at 9 am.
Train departs Hayes at 10.10, travel to Paddington, where we will catch the tube to Liverpool st.
Trains depart for Waltham cross four times every hour.
Bus or taxi to ground.

Just been advised by Tfl:

Saturday 15 Sep:

Circle: No service between Hammersmith and Tower Hill
Hammersmith and City: No service between Baker St and Barking
Metropolitan: No service between Baker St and Aldgate

Don't know if this affects things.

Not sure it does, Hayes to Ealing Broadway, then, by central line to Liverpool st.

Can someone help me out please. Can Oyster be used on the Greater Anglia train from London Terminals (Liverpool St etc) to Waltham Cross, or is it paper tickets only?

Post subject:  Re: Waltham abbey 15 sept.

In addition to the above if it is Oyster, what will the fare be between Liverpool street and Waltham Cross (I believe the paper ticket is £11.80 return off peak)?

I think it was oyster card job for Cheshunt away? So you might be fine for a 'cheap' day out :shh:
