Dorchester are a well organised side .They closed us down as soon as we got the ball and made it very difficult for us to break them down.
They had a few chances themselves but didn't take them.
Most teams are going to raise their game against us as they all want to beat the league leaders.

3 points away from home is a great result but we do need to tighten up in defence.

Well Terry and myself had a great weekend! They certainly parked the Bus to start with, and who can blame them with our forward line on show! They could have been infront but, hey ho, if you can’t finish….. disappointed that the Fans that were there, and there were lots (noisy bastards) didn’t come into the Club House after. Their Chairman came over, what a nice guy he is, I really hope they escape relegation, he deserves nothing less! The KFC was devoured by our super fit athletes, none available for the Fans. Nice Pubs in Weymouth, live music listened to, don’t think I got up dancing but I was being let astray by my Chauffeur, thanks Tell! A cracking weekend, after the COVID, forgot what it was like! Bring on the Dorking…..

Situated next door to tescos which has no cafe, but did have petrol in its garage !!
Quite a large club house.
During the first half I could not get Maiden castle out of my mind what an impressive iron age fortification.
Unlike the Maumbury rings sited the other side of tescos which I thought pretty poor.
I was also impressed with the long queue for food and drink.
In the second half my thoughts turned to the 3G pitch and how it glistened when the sun started to go down.
Being 3G there was no shimmer just a steady glint and I thought 'better fill up with petrol on the way out'.
After the match I had little time to hang around, there was a pub in Southampton with square dancing.

A bit late, but it's only just gone on youtube. A different view on the match by a couple of blokes following the FA Cup. Worth watching. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w2m3KxQ9z7w
